Why is Eagle News asking for my phone number?

When submitting a Letter to the Editor Eagle News requires students and faculty to submit a full name, grade, major and phone number.

An Eagle News staff member will call you on the number provided to confirm that you submitted the Letter to the Editor. Eagle News will not publish a submitted Letter to the Editor without oral consent from the student or faculty member.
