FGCU will close to make way for Isaac

According to an email sent by FGCU community relations on Friday afternoon, the university will be closed from 4 p.m. on Sunday through Monday, Aug. 27.

All FGCU classes scheduled Monday on the main campus and at off-campus locations are canceled.

Housing staff is encouraging students to go home until Tuesday if possible, but student housing and SoVi will remain open.

FGCU is expected to reopen at 8 a.m. on Tuesday unless prevented by weather conditions.
